Hands-on coaching. Team culture. Built for lifters who want real progress.

Join Method Barbell at Evolve Strength North for in-person Olympic weightlifting coaching. We work with athletes of all levels—from Learn-to-Lift novices to nationally competitive lifters—through a structured, tiered development model.

Learn-To-Lift On-Ramp

Learn the lifts from top to bottom with a evidence-informed approach.

If it’s been a while, or you are coming to us with zero experience out learn-to-lift program is your first step. We start off beginners with (3) one-hour sessions. We take an individualized approach to teaching the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.

For: Beginners or athletes new to Olympic lifting.
What it is: A progressive, coach-led onboarding program designed to build technical foundations and confidence.

Team Programs

Train with the team on a program that aligns with your goals, needs, and development in the sport.

The Team Program is the core of Method Barbell’s in-person training community—designed for athletes who are ready to take the next step in their Olympic weightlifting journey. Whether you’re transitioning from Learn-to-Lift, coming in with prior lifting experience, or preparing for your next competition, this program offers a structured, coach-led environment where you can progress with intention.

For: Lifters with some experience in snatch and clean & jerk.
What it is: Small group coaching that blends individualized progress with a structured, team-based program. Athletes follow the Method Barbell training system aligned to their current development tier, with room to advance toward higher levels of competition.

Individualized Coaching

Built around you, not the other way around.
Method Barbell’s Individualized Coaching is for athletes who need a tailored approach—whether you're managing a variable schedule, preparing for a specific competition, addressing technical gaps, or chasing performance at the highest levels. Programming, planning, and coach support are built to fit your needs, training history, and goals—not just the team template.

Individualized athletes still train in-person with the Method Barbell community, but with a custom plan that adapts to life, workload, and lifting capacity.
